Upon graduating from law school at University of California, Berkeley (Boalt Hall), Eric Carlson began his career with a large international law firm specializing in real estate law. He represented lenders, developers, purchasers and sellers in connection with construction loans, the disposition of distressed and foreclosed commercial and residential properties: a skill which has proven valuable in today's market.
In 2003, Eric joined Baird & Warner's Gold Coast office where he was named Rookie of the Year and continued his sales success being named to the Chairman's Club in subsequent years He has been named to Chicago Magazine's Five Star Real Estate Agent list.
Today, along with return clients and referrals, Eric focuses much of his efforts on investor, international and first time home buyers and enjoys educating them so that they may make intelligent buying decisions.
Along with typical residential sales, Eric is an expert in 1031 Exchanges, short sales, foreclosures, sale-lease backs, new construction, FHA and 203(k) transactions.
Through patience, perseverance and understanding of the Chicago real estate market from a sales and legal points of view, Eric and his clients have managed to be successful.
